Privacy
Policy.

Summary

PhotoAnchor does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There is no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated cloud service.

Photos and videos

With your permission, PhotoAnchor reads photos and videos from the system media library so it can display them and perform backups you request. Media is copied directly to the folder or storage provider you select. The developer does not receive your media.

Selected storage

The operating system grants PhotoAnchor access to a folder you explicitly choose. The app stores a local access token so it can restore that access after restart. Disconnecting or revoking access makes the destination unavailable until you select or reconnect it.

Data stored on your device

PhotoAnchor stores an installation identifier, the selected destination reference, media identifiers, file names, and backup status locally. This information is used only to organize backups and avoid duplicate copies. It is not sent to the developer.

External backup files

Backup media and the JSON manifest remain in the destination you selected until you remove them. Uninstalling PhotoAnchor does not delete files from an external drive or user-selected folder.

Platform services

If an original is stored in iCloud Photos or another system media provider, the operating system may retrieve it according to your platform settings before PhotoAnchor can copy it. Those platform services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Children

PhotoAnchor is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect information from children or adults.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the store privacy declarations will be updated before the changed version is released.
